Patricia was born on May 17, 1942 in Buffalo, South Dakota. She was the daughter of Charles W. and Mary Gladys (Van Horn) Melaney. She received her education in Harlowton, MT and was a graduate of the Harlowton High School class of 1960.

On December 21st, 1960, Patricia was united in marriage to John H. Buckley of Harlowton, MT, in Spokane, WA. This marriage was blessed with three children, Kayla, Ken and Kevin. Patricia resided in Spokane until 1976 when she relocated to Livingston, MT. There she met and married Don M. Grigsby in June of 1980.

Patricia was employed with the City of Livingston as the Payroll Clerk. She retired in June of 2004.

Patricia enjoyed gardening. Her favorite flowers to plant were petunias, marigolds and pansies. She was also famous for her "Au Gratin Potatoes"!! This was her famous hot-dish to take to work functions, get-togethers and family dinners!! It has been a hard dish for the rest of us to replicate as she had "mastered" it.

But more so, Patricia especially enjoyed the times spent with her family, grandchildren and friends. Blessed be her memory.

Patricia is survived by her three children, Kayla Barnes and her husband Robert of McDonough, GA; Ken Buckley of Eugene, OR and Kevin Buckley and his wife Karen of McDonough, GA. Five grandchildren, Brian (Heather) Egeland of Forsyth, MT, Steven (Lauren) Egeland of Locust Grove, GA, Mike Buckley and Ryan Buckley both of Springfield, OR and Sara Patricia Buckley of Eugene, OR. As well as, many nieces, nephews cousins and other relatives and friends.
