Larry Dean Aarseth was born May 7, 1958, the son of Arthur and Theresa (Dionne) Aarseth, at Trinity Hospital in Minot, ND. He was raised and educated in Carpio, ND. Larry was baptized and confirmed at Carpio Lutheran Church. He graduated from Carpio High School in 1976.
Larry enlisted in the United States Army National Guard in 1976. He proudly served his country until the time of his honorable discharge.
Larry once worked for Morris Rod Weeder of Minot. He then took over the family farm in Carpio in 2004.
Larry also met Diane Hogoboom-Jorde in 2004. They were united in marriage July 2, 2005, and became a family with Diane and her four children: Joseph, Catherine, Alexander and Elizabeth. They made their home in Minot.
Larry worked for a time at Summers Manufacturing of Devils Lake, ND and later at Aggregate Construction of Minot. He then went on to work at Diversified Maintenance of Minot until the time of his passing.
Larry enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.

Mother, Theresa Aarseth; loving wife of 11 years, Diane Aarseth; children, Joseph (Lindsey) Jorde, Katherine (Colin Murphey) Jorde, Alexander Jorde and Elizabeth Jorde; grandson, Jonathan Murphy; brothers, Jerry (Jill) Aarseth, Terry Aarseth and Perry Aarseth; nieces, Lindsay Aarseth and Courtney Aarseth; and his cousin, Gary Condon.
Larry was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Johanna Aarseth; father, Arthur Aarseth; father-in-law, James D. Hogoboom; and his aunts, Mabel, Marvel and Kamilla.
