Mary Ann Hoeppner, age 78, of Whitelaw, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center of Manitowoc.
The former Mary Ann Lemke was born on October 10, 1937 in the town of Liberty, daughter of the late Arnold and Viola (Grunewald) Lemke. Mary attended the Trinity Ev. Lutheran school and Valders schools. On April 27, 1957 Mary Ann was married to Fritz H. Hoeppner at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in the town of Liberty. He preceded her in death on April 11, 2014. Mary Ann was a homemaker, loved spending time with family and enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing cribbage. Mary Ann enjoyed watching the Milwaukee Brewers and the Wisconsin Badgers. She was a member of St. John - St. James Ev. Lutheran Church of Reedsville.
Survivors include her two daughters and sons-in-law; Susan (Todd) Rogala; Cheryl (David) Zipperer; two sons: David Hoeppner; Dale Hoeppner all of Whitelaw; eight grandchildren: Ashley Rogala and her special friend: Travis; Linsey Rogala and her special friend: Noah; Kari (Matt) Bubolz; Craig (Angela) Zipperer; Danielle Hoeppner and her fiancé: Justin; Andrew Hoeppner; Lauren Hoeppner and her special friend: Josh; Alex Hoeppner; six great-grandchildren: Talen, Brody and Elyse Bubolz; Aliyana, Maisie and Kinsley Zipperer; four sisters and two brothers-in-law: Valerie Stuckman, Edwards; Janice (Paul) Dettman, Watertown; LuAnn Helgeson, Cato; Lois (Howard) Krueger, Manitowoc; one sister-in-law: Marion Hoeppner, Manitowoc, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Arnold and Viola Lemke; her husband: Fritz H. Hoeppner; one son: Keith Hoeppner; one granddaughter: Angela Zipperer; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Fred and Elfrida (Rackow) Hoeppner; six brothers-in-law: Gilbert Stuckman; Howard Helgeson; Edward Zahn; Max Hoeppner; Albert Hoeppner; Paul Hoeppner; two sisters-in-law: Marjorie Hoeppner; Erma Zahn; three nieces: Lynn Hoeppner; Tami Dettman; Jane Kadow; three nephews: Ron Hoeppner; Glen Stuckman; Gary Zahn.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 25, 2016 at St. John St. James Ev. Lutheran Church, 219 Manitowoc Street, Reedsville. The Rev. Darin Aden will officiate with burial to follow at St. John - St. James West Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations would be appreciated for St. John - St. James Ev.
