Local businessman Ralph J. Bandy left this world Saturday, 13 Aug 2016. He died at home at the age of 85.
He was a devoted father, grandfather and husband of 65 years, and was married in 1950. He was honorably discharged from the US Army with the rank of Sergeant in 1953 with two years of service, and was a member of the American Legion as well as the Sons of the American Revolution.
Preceding him in death are five brothers: Bernard, Gordon Jackie, Jerry, and William (Billy) Bandy; a sister-in-law Eileen Bandy, and his parents Itzel and Cleta Bandy.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Ray Petty and Rev. Terry Huffer on Tuesday 16 Aug 2016, and interment was conducted with military honors at Sugar Creek Cemetery in Bradley County.
