A White Shrine burial service for Mrs. Vera Fern Tindall Pawson 40, will be held Saturday Aug 27th, at noon, in The Masonic Temple, 650 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City.
She passed away Wednesday, Aug. 24, 1955, in her home at 3094 So. State St., Salt Lake City, Utah, her beloved husband and 3 year old daughter were at her side.

Mrs. Pawson, was born in the home built by her parents, Mr and Mrs Wallace I Tindall at 5545 Reseda Blvd, on Mar. 19, 1915, and lived there until her departure from the San Fernando Valley in 1947. She graduated from Canoga Park High School in 1934 and went to University of Southern California where she received a Masters Degree in Music. She played the harp and violin. In 1939 she taught music at The Institute of Musical Edcuation in Los Angeles California.

She eloped and married her beloved husband R.L. Pawson on May 7, 1943 in Los Angeles, California in front of a Justice of the Peace. Her Parents were so upset at not being at their daughters wedding, that on Christmas Day that same year Mr and Mrs. Pawson got married again in a church ceremony, surrounded by family and friends.

Mrs. Pawson is survived by both of her parents, Clara Ella Hartman Tindall and Wallace Irvin Tindall, a sister Mrs Esta Clara Tindall Scott (wife of Thomas Edward Scott Jr.) all residents of Tarzana, Los Angeles, California. Mrs. Pawson is also survived by her husband, Raymond Lynn "Bud" Pawson and by 2 daughters, Mrs Barbara Esta Conte, 18, (wife of Ernest Leonard Conte) and Claudia Veray Pawson, 3 years old and 1 grandson, Daniel Leonard Conte, 1 year old.
