Fred was born and raised in Tucson and passed away peacefully at the age of 89.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Frances; sister, Joann Darby (Bob); two daughters and one son; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Fred was a World War II veteran in the U.S. Navy.
He was a 33rd Mason and a member of Epes Randolf Lodge #32 in Tucson.
A celebration of life will be held at the Adair Avalon Chapel at 8:30 a.m., then a procession to Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Marana on Saturday, October 15, 2016.
