Gorman G. Lundeford, 51, of Samantha Rt. 1, died last night at Druid City Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Lunceford had retired as a workman for the B.F. Goodrich plant because of a disability.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Bethel Campground Church with the Rev. Lucius Clements and the Rev. Mr. Jackson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the home until the time of the service.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. R.E. Burke of Birmingham and Miss Lina Kay Lunceford of Samantha; a son, Bill Lunceford of Samantha; a brother, Scott Lunceford of Samantha; his mother, Mrs. Angie Lunceford of Samantha, and four grandchildren.
