Gertrude Emily Moran, age 90 passed away May 7, 2006, in a local hospital. Mrs. Moran was born in Frey, LA on May 5, 1916.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jester J. McFarlain and Joseph E. Moran; her parents, Joseph and Bertha Bertrand; three sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by her son, Shelby McFarlain, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Barbara McFarlain; grandchildren, Veronica Colvin (John), Pamela McFarlain, Shelby McFarlain, Jr., Cheryl Peebles (Jeff) and Theresa Bradshaw (Todd); 12 great-grandchildren and 12 great, great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at Faith Chapel North, Cantonment with Father Jan A. Zagorski officiating. Interment will follow at Serenity Gardens in Atmore, AL.
