Obituary for Louis Ruffner Jr.

Louis Franklin Ruffner, Jr., "Frankie," 55, of Charles Town, passed away at his home Saturday, November 5, 2016. Born June 25, 1961, in Charles Town, he was the son of Louis Franklin Ruffner, Sr. and Ellen Mae Ford Ruffner, of Charles Town.
He was of the Christian faith. He was a carpenter by trade, creating lifelong friendships with all who crossed his path. He was a joy to anyone who was around him, constantly making people smile. He had a generous and kind soul. He was artistic, creative, loved nature shows, working on his camaro and riding his motorcycle.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Shandi Renee Ruffner; brother, Larry Dean Ruffner, Sr., and wife Elizabeth Eileen, all of Charles Town; sister, Pamela Sue Miller, and husband John, of Mount Airy, Maryland, and a host of extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Kimberly Robin Ruffner Ziegenfuss.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home with the Pastor Floyd "Bucky" Chapman officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant View Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm, Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016, at the Chapel.
A memorial bike run in Frankie's honor will be hosted at the Rainbow Road Club, at a later date, with the proceeds benefitting the American Heart Association.
