Bear Creek - Funeral for Anthony Babino was held at St Mary Church, 10am Monday (8 Sep 1930) with Rev M Alt in charge. Bearers were Arthur Babino, James Babino, Fred Babino, William Dery, Rosmer Dery and Chester Vedner. Interment was parish cemetery.

Out of town people attending: M/M Vennie Babino, Minneapolis, M/M William Dery, Kaukauna; M/M Lute Babino, Fred Holt, Rhinelander; M/M Fred Babino, James Babino and two children, Appleton; M/M Charles Clish and daughter, Chicago; George Clish, Appleton; Louis Clish, Hortonville; M/M Christ Whitman, Appleton; M/M H. Rehbein, Menasha; Edward Beauvais and family, Elcho.

Mr Babino, 77 died at his home in Minneapolis, Friday morning (05 Sep 1930) after few days illness. Remains were brought Saturday to the home of brother Henry Babino where funeral was held.

The decedent was born in North Ferrisburg VT. He lived in Fremont until 18 years old, then moved to Massachusetts where he lived 6 years.

At 24 years of age he came with parents to the Bear Creek WI. He married Mrs Armeda (Lehman) Rouleau in 1880. They lived in Bear Creek, later moving to a farm east of the village. Mr Babino was a carpenter in addition to farm work. Twelve years ago they moved to Minneapolis.

Survivors are one son, Vianney Babino, Minneapolis; two grandchildren, four brothers: Lute Babino, Rhinelander; Frank Babino, Massachusetts, George Babino, Deer Creek; Henry Babino, Bear Creek; two sisters: Mrs Clemony Greelier, Massachusetts, Mrs Emily Ellior, Spokane WA.
