Clyde Abba, 85, Neenah, died Thursday, January 27, 2011, at Theda Clark Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born December 4, 1925, in Breitung [township], MI, son of Lawrence and Ora (Borden) Abba. Clyde married Delores Kallenbach, March 9, 1951, in Oshkosh. He was employed at Jeweler's Mutual for 25 years prior to his retirement in 1992. He was a member of the Neenah Club and a lifetime member of Bridgewood Golf Club. Clyde was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Clyde is survived by his wife, Delores; his children: Bill (Robyn) Abba, Readfield, and Jo Ann Clough, Black Earth, and her special friend, Dan Malliet; three grandchildren: Jessica (Chris Miller) Abba, Madison; Matt (Mary) Abba, New London; Lindsey Clough, Cross Plains; three great-¬grandchildren: Elsie and Lily Abba and Isabel Miller; brothers: Fran (Marian) Abba, Arroyo, CA; Lloyd Abba, Escanaba; Larry (La Vonne) Abba, Neenah and Ron Abba (Maggie Eastwood), Pebble Beach, CA; many nieces and nephews; two sisters¬-in¬-law and a brother¬-in¬-law: Ellen Hatchett, Mary Lou Rae and Bill (Patsy) Kallenbach. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Rose Olson and Doris Mae Abba; and three brothers¬-in¬-law: John and James Kallenbach and Clarence Hatchett. Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2011, at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial Street, Neenah, with Bill Kallenbach officiating. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
