Bruce Ezra Zimmerman, 86, of 26 Poplar Street, Kingston, died at Wyoming Valley Hospital yesterday afternoon after an illness.
Mr. Zimmerman was born in Waterton, son of the late Ezra and Susan Kline Zimmerman. He was a former employee of the Middleburg Tanning Corporation, retiring approximately 20 years ago. He later was manager of Howard Frantz Farm, Chase. He was a member of the Masonic Order and its various bodies and a member of the Middleburg Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife, the former Emma Davis; daughter, Mrs. Carl G. Steele, Kingston; brother, Dale K. Zimmerman, Trucksville; two grandsons, one granddaughter and two great-grandsons.
Funeral will be held Monday at 2 from the funeral home, Main Road, Sweet Valley, with Rev. B. Kirby Jones, officiating. Interment will be in the Dodson Cemetery, Southdale.
Friends may call Saturday and Sunday night 7 to 9.
