Harriette Coleene Cox Boyd, age 87, of Pelham, passed away January 28, 2017, in Reidsville, N.C. She was born on June 10, 1929, in Pelham, to Eddie Cox and Lora Cockran Cox. She married Adrian Artis Boyd. She retireded at Dan River Mills and she was a member of Lively Stones Baptist Church in Pelham. She is survived by her children, Artis Boyd (Janice), Joan Walton (Michael), Gary Boyd (Donna), Sherry Smithey and Lori Cheek (Woody); eight grandchildren; sisters, Lorine Farmer, Velda Stevens, Elva Cox and Janell Spach. she was also predeceased by her husband, Adrian Boyd; brothers, Lonza Cox and Herman Cox. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
