He served in the United States Army at the end of WWII in Austria. Charles was a lifetime member at the VFW and was a member of the Sebewaing American Legion.
He married Dolores Barstch. She preceded him in death in 2011. He retired from General Motors doing machine repair. He enjoyed woodworking, playing cards and spending time with his family. He was a “jack of all trades” and was always happy and joking around.
Charles is survived by his children: Debra (Andrew) Matika, Charles (Suzanne) Sally, Jr., Albert Sally and Carol Sally; stepsons: Jim (Pat) Clare and John Clare; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and siblings.
Charles requested cremation to take place and no service.
Memorial donations may be given to Heartland Hospice.
