He married Yvonne Graves on 6/29/1974 at St. James Church in Carthage. He spent some time in the US Army, worked as an insurance salesman, and ended his career as a business teacher at Lewis County BOCES. Many might remember him for owning the local grocery store, Super Duper (later Jubilee), with his close friends, Wayne Slye and Ward Bushaw.
He loved to play and watch sports, and enjoyed dabbling in the stock market.
He was survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Gerard (Amber) Marino; a son, Thomas (Karlie) Jr.; three grandsons, Ben and Matthew Marino and Thomas Ablan, III; and a brother, George (Marsha).
