She married Joseph Ablan on 2/5/1928, in St. Louis of Gonzaga Church, Utica. They moved to Carthage from Watertown in 1933. He died on 10/1/1974.
They owned and operated Alban’s Grocery Store on Alexandria Street for more than 50 years.
Surviving were two sons, Thomas and George; three sisters, Marina Rojas, Philadelphia, Pa., Eleanor Wood, Albany, and Mercedes Enright, Schenectady; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Two brothers and three sisters died before her.
