Mrs. Shirley M. Merritt of Route 4, Box 837, this City, passed away Sunday, Sept. 21, 1975 in a local hospital at the age of 45 years. Former resident of Athens, PA., and San Antonio resident for 6 years. Survivors: Husband, Mr. Harrison E. Merritt, City; daughters, Mrs. Pamela Turner and Miss Beverly Merritt, both of San Antonio; sisters, Mrs. June Vandergrift of Elmira, N.Y. and Mrs. Mildred Dyer of Wysox, Pa,; brothers, Herbert Kiederling of Sayre, Pa, and Elbert Kiederling of Hollyood, Fla,; granddaughter, Corne Turner of San Antonio; numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 24, 1975 at 2:00 p.m. in Mission Park Funeral Chapels with interment to follow in Mission Burial Park. The family request that in lieu of floral offerings contributions may be made to the cancer fund. Arrangements are with Mission Park Funeral Chapels 1700 S.E. Military Dr.
