Fred ("Freddie" to his future brothers-in- law) was married to Rose Wesch on Sept. 19. 1935 in Prince Rupert, B.C. They lived there for about 15 years or more, following which Fred accepted a transfer for his railway job to Vancouver Island. They took up residence in Victoria for the remainder of their time together.
(The original family surname was "Chrismas" in England. It was changed to Cameron after arriving and settling in Canada.)
