When a daughter dies in the night?

The flame that burns in her mother's heart casts light for two lifetimes, the daughter's and the mother's.

From friends and family:

"Liberty Rain Sanchez (Norman) passed away unexpectedly on the night of April 8th, 2017.

She was a courageous, strong, friendly, modest, athletic, and high-spirited girl who always approached life with joy and curiosity.

Liberty spread love and compassion to everyone she met and if there was a need to get one from place to the other it was done with a pirouette and her beautiful hair fanned out around her.

She was spunky and fun but also serious--very serious--when it came to school work.

Liberty will be enormously missed by all who knew her." (Printed pre-funeral at GoFundMe.)

*****************************************

Relatives who lived far away watched Liberty grow, with pleasure, from baby to beyond, thanks to photos sent by her mom. Love to Liberty's family,
from Jerry, Julie, Veronica and Erik

A memorial service was held, plus an outdoor event in Bidwell Park.. Liberty's school friends and moms started a drive at GoFundMe to help Liberty's mother pay for unexpected funeral and EMS expenses. The minimum goal was reached in a few days. Thanks to all who contributed, to Laura Loriano for setting up the GoFundMe webpage.

SOME PREDECEASED FAMILY: Her great-grandfather, Tom Erik Norman, who died in 2008, in Cashmere, Washington.
