A Wisconsin State Patrol trooper was killed Tuesday morning in a crash in Sauk County, officials confirmed.
Trooper Anthony Borostowski of Tomah was traveling eastbound on Interstate 90-94 between Lake Delton and Wisconsin Dells when he lost control of his patrol car, rolled into a ditch and struck a tree.
Borostowski, a trooper and staff sergeant in the Wisconsin National Guard, was pronounced dead at the scene.
