Marvis Dinning Smith, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister. died
October 23, 2000 in Dallas.
She was 82 and will be missed forever by her daughter, Diane Telgen and her husband
Bill Telgen, of Dallas, her son, Norman Smith, of Salt Lake City, and all those who had
the fortune to know her and love her.
Marvis was a vocalist in the big band era where she met her now deceased husband of
30 years, Harry F. Smith, also a musician.
Services will be held November 11, at 2 p.m., Wasatch Lawn Memoria Park, 3401 S.
Highland Dr., Salt Lake City, UT 87106.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to The Salvation Army,
P. O. Box 2608, Dallas, TX 75221.
