Leota was born Dec 6th 1904 to parents Gilbert and Ethel Coons of Monterrey Ca. She had three brothers, Eldred, Clarence and Floyd She married Philip D Edmond's and they resided in Dresden New York. She was retired from Michael Stern Clothing Company in Penn Yan. She also worked many years as a waitress at the Hilltop Restaurant and the Dresden Hotel. Leota was predeceased by her husband Philip Daniel Edmond's in 1994, and brother Clarence Coon in 1990. Leota was 91 at the time of her death on Nov 11 1996. She was laid to rest at City Hill Cemetery in Penn Yan, Yates County, New York with her beloved husband Philip Daniel Edmond's.
