Age 81, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ypsilanti, MI. He was born November 13, 1934 in Ann Arbor, MI, the son of Herman E. and Bertha R. (Henes) Jedele. On June 28, 1958 in Ann Arbor, MI, he married Caroline Louise Acton and she preceded him in death on December 29, 1998. Harold had a special love for John Deere tractors and watching the horse pulling and tractor pulling at the local fairs. He also loved spending time with friends at the Wednesday night euchre club. Survivors include his children Joyce (Kevin) Gross and Janice (Carl) Sheppard and his granddaughter Rachael Mieras. Other survivors include his sister Marilyn Brassow, his brother Lloyd (Marlene) Jedele, sister Elizabeth (Richard) Roehm, and sisters-in-law Irene Jedele and Mary Jedele. Harold was preceded in death in addition to his wife by his parents, brothers LeRoy and James, and brother-in-law George Brassow. Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ann Arbor, with Pastor Michael Koepke officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Church. Envelopes will be available at the Church where friends may begin calling on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 between the hours of 2:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. and again on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M.
