Harvey Charles Olson was born to Harvey G "aka" Arvid" and Hanora "aka" Nora Batiste of Brocton Mass.
Harvey was the oldest of three children, brother Francis Eugene 1916-1975 and sister Dorthy 1922-2012.
While attending high school Harvey worked with his father Harvey Sr. in his home construction business called Olson & Son. When Harvey was in his early 20's he moves to New York City where he works as a clerk.
He marries Catherine M. Lawler in 1941 and they had 5 children, 3 sons and 2 daughters.
He enlists in the Navy in 1943-1945 in W.W.2. After the service he moves to South Carolina.
He was a widower since 1984 when his wife Catherine passed away, he never remarries.
He was a retired investigator for the state workers compensation office in South Carolina.
Cause of death: COPD "Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease".
He was 80 years old when he died.
