Aunt Ruth was born in 1921 to Benjamin Franklin Edmund's and Ada Christine Wilkins Warren.

She was the second to last child born of 12 children. Five brothers and 4 sisters, and 2 that died in infancy.

My mom Betty was the youngest and the closest to Ruth they were only 2 years apart.

Still piecing together the story of Ruth's life but I do know that she worked in a leather factory in Willamsport Pa for a time in her young 20's.

At the time of her death at 29 years old she was living in Tulsa Oklahoma. She was a bookkeeper for the " Long Bell Lumber Company."
She had an operation for a " Perforated Sigmoid Colon" with SEPSIS. She passed away one month later. She was buried next to her father in Millheim Pennsylvania.

"God could see she was getting tired
a cure was not to be,
so, He put His arms around her
and softly whispered, Come With Me.

With tear-filled eyes we watched her
slowly wither and fade away
no matter what we did for her
we could not make her stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,
a loving spirit put to rest.
He broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best."

Our Family Chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same;
but as God calls us one by one,
the Chain will link again.

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm on your face,
And the rain fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
