Services for Billie Jo Churchwell, 72, of Brownfield, were held Monday,
June 5, 2006, in the Abundant Harvest Community Church with Rev. Chris Seaton
officiating. Burial was in Terry County Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Churchwell died Saturday, June 3, 2006, in Lubbock. She was born
Sept 9, 1933, in Pampa, and was married to J. T. Churchwell on April 9, 1950, in
Paris, Texas. He died on Jan. 24, 1997.
She owned and operated Billie's Beauty Shop for 12 years and the Junk Box for
five years prior to her retirement in 1985. She was a member of Abundant Harvest
Community Church.
Mrs. Churchwell is survived by one daughter, Patty Rowe of Brownfield, and by
three sons: Butch of Granbury and Gary and Ricky both of Brownfield. She is also
survived by one sister, Bobbi Steen of Brownfield, one brother, Jack Harrelson of
Brownfield, and by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
