WILLSBORO - Eldrick Abare, 68, of Willsboro died unexpectedly at his home Thursday afternoon. Mr. Abare was born in Willsboro
Aug. 3 , 1893. He was the son of the late John and Amelia Signer Abare of Willsboro. A veteran of World War I, he was employed by the Delaware
and Hudson Railroad for years as a telegraph operator. He was owner of the Willsboro
Pharmacy, which he operated for 13 years, and was a funeral director. He is survived by his widow, the former Florence Phelps; a
daughter, Mrs. Richard Foley of Willsboro; a sister, Mrs. Leon Bunday of Denver, Col: brother, Dr. Nelson Abare of Buffalo. He was a member of the William Nolan American Legion Post of Willsboro.
