Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, July 7, 2017 at the age of 70, after a courageous battle with leukemia. She is now reunited with her soul mate, the late Leslie Warren. Her unconditional love and support will be deeply missed by her children. Predeceased by her parents, Doreen Adams, formerly Wilson (nee Nagle), and David Wilson, stepfather Arthur Adams and brother-in-law Vincent Warren. Catherine Anne touched everyone she met with her generous and kind soul. She was truly an angel on Earth and will now look over us and guide us from the heavens above. Family and friends may call at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, on Wednesday, July 12 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at St. John the Apostle Church, 2340 Baseline Road, on Thursday, July 13 at 11 a.m. Interment at Pinecrest Cemetery. In memory of Catherine Anne, donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family. Heartfelt thanks to the medical staff at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, in particular Dr. Grace Wu and the nurses in the ACE Unit, for the compassionate care provided.
