Virginia R Abel, age 75, died on Wednesday, Dec 22, 1993 at Franciscan Care Center following a short illness.
She was born Feb 10, 1918 in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Edward and Rose (Heidger) Heniz Sr. Virginia enjoyed flowers and the beauty of landscaping. Needlework was one of her many talents and she enjoyed sharing her works of art.
She is survived by two daughters: Shelia (George) Schmidt, Appleton; Roseanne (Earl) Dooley, Kennewick, WA; two sons: Lawrence Abel Jr, Bullock NC; Gregory (Jane) Abel, Appleton; 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, five sisters: Joyce (Leslie) Wellhoefer and Diana (Arlin) Schroeder, all of Neenah; Charlotte (Howard) Taggart, Menasha, Doris (George) Keilhauser, Appleton; Bonita (Donald) Peterson, McFarland WI; four brothers: Edward Heinz, Appleton; Eugene (Beulah) Heinz, Little Chute; Charles (Grace) Heinz, Menasha; Ronald (Joan) Heinz, Bellevue NE. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Jerome Heinz and Vernon Heinz; and a sister June Heinz.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, Dec 27, 1993 at 10:30am at the Laemerich Funeral Home in Menasha with Fr Richard Allen officiating. Interment will be in St Margaret Cemetery, Neenah.
