Mrs. Wilson was a retired registered nurse, a member of the First United Methodist Church of West Monroe, and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Guy Bannister; her second husband, Roy Lavelle Wilson, Sr.; her daughter, Mary Jane Duvio; her stepdaughter, Billie Moore; her parents, John Franklin Wortham and Minnie May Vaughn Wortham; three sisters, Mildred Janes, Margaret Costello and Laura Ober; and two brothers, Jack Wortham and W. E. Chitty.

She was survived by 5 grandchildren, 10 nieces and 2 nephews.
