The Rev. C. C. (Lump) Osborne, 83,,
died at the Central Baptist Hosp. Lex-
ington, at 10 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12 ,
after suffering a heart attack at his home
in Campton. He was a native of Wolfe Co.
and a retired Church of God minister.
Survivors includ his wife Mrs. Cora Cox
Osborne; two sons, Charles Osborne, of
Sarasota, Fla., and Walter Osborne of
Middletown, Ohio; four daughters, Mrs.
Roxie Swango, Winchester; Mrs. Iva Camp-
bell, Nada; Mrs. Estill Campbell, and Mrs.
Jewell Stevens, Middletown, Ohio; three
sisters, Mrs. Cam Byrd, Mrs. Emma Taylor,
and Mrs. Cynthia Boothe, all of Middletown,
Ohio; 30 grandchildren, 26 great grand-
children, and a large number of great great
grandchildren.
Services at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Campton
Baptist Church by the Rev. Omer Spencer
and Rev. Willie Taylor. Burial in the Swango
Cemetery Trace Fork. Porter and Son Fun-
eral Home in charge of arrangements
