Linda Allan passed away on August 3rd, surrounded by loved ones, after a brave battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband Jim Allan, her son Tyler Scott and wife Bridget along with grandchildren Trevor, Owen and Cole Scott, daughter Amanda Scott, stepsons Oscar and Mitch Allan, brother Michael and wife Jane Queenan, brother Terry and wife Gail Queenan. Linda was preceded in death by her daughter, Aimee, in August of 1993.

Linda was a longtime resident of Martinez, after spending most of her formative years in Walnut Creek. She graduated from Los Lomas High School in 1966, beauty school shortly thereafter, and then went on to enjoy a 45+year career as a hair stylist, which included owning three successful salons: Aimee's Coiffures in Walnut Creek, Hairlines & Co. in Martinez, and Hair at the Ritz in Pleasant Hill.

Linda leaves behind a legacy of rich relationships, vibrant energy, and incredible generosity of time, talent and treasure. Her passions included traveling with her beloved husband, beautification of her home and gardens, enjoying her many friends, blessing others through her craft of hairstyling, giving thoughtful gifts, and making great memories with her family. She had hundreds of friends whom she loved dearly--many of whom walked by her side and supported her throughout her hard-fought cancer battle over 18 months. Her purity of spirit and passion for life will be sorely missed, often remembered, and forever appreciated.

A Celebration of Linda's Life is scheduled for Saturday September 12th at 3pm at Community Presbyterian Church in Danville, followed by a reception at The Veterans Memorial Building in Danville. In Lieu of flowers, please send donations to Big Dog Rescue, 137 Evergreen Ave, Mill Valley, CA 94941; or the American Cancer Society.
