Mr. Robert Allen Abbott, age 51, of Lexington, Kentucky, formerly Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Saturday morning, October 21, 2017, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was born August 6, 1966, in Carter County, Kentucky, a son of Willie “Bill” Keith and Jewell “Judy” Wilson Abbott of Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Robert worked at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in the heating and cooling department and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his dog, Itty-Bitty.
He was preceded in death by one brother, David Abbott.
Robert is survived by three brothers and a sister in-law; Gary and Debbie Abbott, Larry Abbott, and William “Wink” Abbott; one sister, Cheryl Price; and Tiffany Snyder whom he raised as his own. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at the Garvin Ridge Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Terry Dean officiating.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Oney-Henderson Funeral Home, 145 Gearheart Street, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
