Eustratios stated on his naturalization application that he was born in Kontopouli, Turkey. When the Turkish Army forced all of the Greeks to evacuate Turkey from 1914 - 1922, all the cities and provinces were renamed - so it's hard to find where he originally came from. On his naturalization application he also stated that before he immigrated to the U. S. he had been living in Alexandria, Egypt. He came to the U. S. in 1905 from Havre, France aboard the French Trans-Atlantic Line. He became a naturalized citizen in 1912. Eustratios married Terpsichore Seretis Moraitakis on 8 Nov 1923 in Atlanta, GA. The had two sons; Stelianos (Steve) and Antonio (Anthony or Tony).
