APPLETON - Frank L. Wagner, Appleton, died Wednesday morning in Milwaukee.
He was born Feb. 9, 1918, in Utica, N.Y., the son of Phillip and Amalia Abraham Wagner. He married Viola L. Smith 46 years ago.
Mr. Wagner, an Appleton resident for 20 years, was vice president and a member of the board of directors of Stubenrauch Associates until ill health forced his retirement five years ago. He then was a member emeritus of the board. He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Appleton. The Oney Johnston/Edward Blessman American Legion Post 38, Appleton, the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America, and the Society of Professional Engineers.
Surviving are his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Rod (Patty) Fisk, Neenah; two sons, David, Green Bay, and Jim, Phoenix, Ariz./ one brother, William, Spooner; three sisters, Mrs. Roy (Lenora) Jorgensen, Butte des Morts, Mrs. Ray (Myrtle) Angle, Berlin, and Mrs. Earl (Anita) Nimmer, Van Dyne; and six grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Appleton, the Rev. W.W. Wehmeier officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh.
Friends may call at Wichmann Funeral Home, Appleton, Monday from 4 to 8 p.m., with American Legion visitation at 7, and at the church Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
A memorial has been established.
