Marvina Antoinette "Vina" Hollins-Minor, 40, of San Angelo, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 4, 2013, in San Angelo. Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 11, 2013, in Johnson's Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. John Lacy officiating. Arrangements are by Johnson's Funeral Home. Vina was born July 14, 1972, in Wichita, Kan. After high school, she enlisted in the United States Air Force and served her country honorably for 20 years until her retirement in 2010. Vina then went to work for the Department of Defense. She received a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice and was working on her master's in strategic intelligence. Vina was a loving wife, mother, daughter and granddaughter who devoted her life to her family. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with those close to her. She was caring, loving friend who often took care of anyone she came across. We will dearly miss her but her memory will live on in our hearts forever. Vina is survived by her loving husband, Cliff Minor, of San Angelo; her daughter, Victoria Minor of San Angelo; her mother, Sherry Barnes of San Angelo; her grandmother, Shirley Thompson of San Angelo; stepsister Tawana Barnes; cousins Sylvia Anderson of Arizona, Tina Hunter of California, Marcia Coley of California, Marshal Matthews of Arizona, Marshae Norman of Arizona, James Hunter Jr. of California, Brenda Grisby of Arizona, Bella Star Moody of California, Shelby Williams of California, Grace Ann, Emmanuel and Simone Coley, all of California, Brian and Marvin Barnes Jr.; and aunt Belinda Patton and uncle Marvin Barnes, who preceded her in death.
