VALPARAISO, IN - Jacob L. Hanson, 26, of Valparaiso passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017 in Sebring, FL.
He was born May 14, 1991, attended Hebron Schools before graduating from Morgan Township High School. Jake was currently a student at Ivy Tech. His engaging style, easy mannerisms and youthful spirit will be sorely missed and long remembered by all who encountered him on life's pathway.
Survivors include his mother, Lisa Teel of Valparaiso,
father, Theodore 'T.J.' (Sandy Murray) Hanson of Valparaiso;
grandparents: Stacia (Robert) Kendt of Valparaiso, Ted (Barb) Hanson of Winamac, Terry (Guy) Sheridan of Sebring, FL;
great grandparents: Rita Samocki of Merrillville, William Teel of Gary;
aunts: Amy (Robert) Boswell, Ashley Hanson, Dana (Shawn) Bock;
uncles: Mark Samocki, Donald (Heather) Martin and many loving cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ron Teel in 1988 and uncle, Jeff Hanson in 2000.
The funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 13, 2017 at MOELLER FUNERAL HOME, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso with cremation to follow.
