WHITEHALL, N.Y. - Danny "Dan" James Gordon, age 64, of North Williams Street in Whitehall, passed away on Wednesday, February 21st 2018 at the Rutland Regional Medical Center in Rutland, Vt.
He was born on December 8th 1953 in Whitehall, N.Y., he was the son of the late Herman J. and Jane R. (Newell) Gordon.
Dan loved to camp and fish on his boat on Lake Champlain with his wife, children and grandchildren. He also loved to go to auctions, doing puzzles on Facebook and motorcycling.
Dan was a past member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks Lodge No. 1491 in Whitehall, N.Y.
He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Dan was a Cross Country Truck Driver for most of his life until his health became an issue and he was forced to retire.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by one sister; Linda LaMay, one brother; Terry Wayne LaMay, one nephew; Gary LaMay, grandparents; Ralph and Anna (Sears) Newell and William and Delia (Gandrow) Gordon, one grandson; Silas Gordon and baby Gordon, several uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Interment will take place on Thursday, May 24th 2018 at the Greenmount Cemetery in Whitehall, N.Y.
