"Louise Anna Schuler was born February 24, 1904, in the North Star community, in Ness County, and died at the Ness County Hospital September 1, 1981.
She moved with her family to Neosho, Mo., in 1910, where she resided until her marriage to Nathan Jones in 1923.
Three children were born to this marriage.
At an early age she was baptized in the Christian faith at the Oakwood Community church, Newton county, Mo. Later she transferred her membership to the First Baptist church in Sam Dimas, Calif., where she was a faithful member.
Louise lived most of her life in the Los Angeles area in California. She was married there, a second time, to Lewis Means.
A year ago she moved to Ness City with her daughter and granddaughter. Due to ill health she has spent most of this period in Ness County Geriatrics, Ness City.
Her parents, four brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
Surviving are her husband, Lewis of Salt Lake City, Utah; her daughter of Ness City; her son of Yucca Valley, Calif.; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and one sister of Ness City; and many nieces and nephews.
Her body was interred in Ness City cemetery while her soul rests forever in Heaven. Memorial services were held at the First Baptist church by Rev. J.C. Stork Friday, September 4.
