Condit L. Arthur, 89, went to his heavenly home April 15, 2018, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
He is survived by his loving wife, Eula Jean Arthur; and his devoted dog, Zippy.
He served his country in the US Air Force during World War II. He was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church and a member of the Tri-State Model Flyers club where he flew his planes that he built from scratch.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Vivian Hawkins Arthur; his brother, David Arthur; and a niece, Carol Jean Arthur.
He will always be remembered by his nieces, Rose Thomas, Janet Matthews, Mary Alice Gardner, Andrea Pickard; nephews, Dennis Arthur and David Wayne Pigman; one sister-in-law, Barbara Sue Pigman.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland with pastor Matt Shamblin officiating. Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice Care Center, 2330 Pollard Road, Ashland, KY 41101.
