1830 William would have been 27 and his wife Gertrude 29 and married for 4 years and had one male child under 5. (Peter-in 1826 NJ)
no record has been located as yet. We NOW know that they did have a daughter in 1831 born in New York, like the other children born after Peter in 1826 New Jersey.

1842 they were living in New York, their last known child, Gertrude was born.
