Hailey Angel Allard, 20, of Somerset, passed away early morning on Friday, August 10, 2018, at Charlton Memorial Hospital, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Fall River, the daughter of Keryann Estrela and Matthew Allard, she was a lifelong resident of Somerset, and a Class of 2016 graduate of Somerset Berkley Regional High School.
Full of positive energy, Hailey had an infectious smile and an active life. Working on a nursing degree, about to enter her junior year at UMass Dartmouth, where she also served as a resident assistant, Hailey was determined to have a positive impact on the world. For in keeping with her love of children, she had already set her sights on a career in pediatric nursing. Recently she had even started a “GoFundMe” page online to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Studying dance at Miss Janice’s Dance Studio, of Swansea, was a perfect outlet for Hailey to express her love of life and vitality of spirit. She also worked as a dietary aide at Charlton Memorial Hospital, and enjoyed some occasional baby-sitting.
Besides her parents, of Somerset, Hailey is survived by: two younger brothers Peyton Allard and Mason Allard; her paternal grandparents, Paul & Jeanne (Roussel) Allard of Fall River; and many aunts, uncles & cousins. She was also a granddaughter of the late Fernando & Margarida (Pimentel) Estrela.
