Elaine loved to travel with her family and had a passion for gardening and all things floral. She was the first graduating class of the Henry Ford High School. After working for 25 years at Consumers Power, she retired to then become a proud business owner of Oakwood Research Facility.
She is survived by her husband Dale Ogle of Pineville, West Virginia. Their three children are Jeffrey W. (Carrie) McCreery, age 52, Pamela A. McCreery (Dave Rohm), age 49 and Christopher D. Ogle (Jamie Cooper), age 44. Siblings: Sister Shirley Gregway and brother in-law Tom Gregway, brother Bill Schnute and sister in-law Pat Schnute, sister Carol Billmeier. Their grandchildren are Ashley R. McCreery, age 22, Kaiden T. Ogle, age 13, McKenzie E. Ogle, age 11, and Hunter M. Gohs, age 8. Elaine is predeceased by her parents Reverend Alvin and Edna Schnute and sister Marilyn Schnute.
A funeral service and visitation will take place at Lynch and Sons Funeral Directors, 39 W Burdick St, Oxford MI, 48371. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 12th, from 3pm until 8pm. The funeral service will be Thursday, July 13th, 11am, at Lynch and Sons; immediately followed by the burial, which will take place at Guardian Angels Cemetery, 4701 N Rochester Rd, Rochester, MI. 48306.
