Lenora will always be remembered for her gentleness and her kind smile. In her earlier years, she enjoyed working on bridals and helped start a variety store in Milwaukee. Lenora loved to sew and crochet, and read her devotions daily. She taught herself to play the piano at an early age; her love of music continued throughout her life. She was a social person and was a member of the Butte Des Morts Ladies' Guild. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter Mary (Dennis) Clauss, of Appleton. She will also be missed by her grandchildren: Kristin (Brian) Wahl and Mark (Suzanne) Clauss; her great grandchildren: Jackson and Chase Wahl, and Violet and Astrid Clauss; sisters: Myrtle Angle and Anita Nimmer; brother: William (Irene) Wagner; sister-in-law Donna (Donald) Volger; and brother-in-law: Gordon "Red" (Rose) Jorgensen. Lenora is further survived by many nieces and nephews . She was preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Amalia Wagner; her husband: Roy; her brother Frank Wagner; and many sisters and brothers -in-law.
The funeral service for Lenora will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 601 East Glendale Ave., with Rev. Paul Brinkman officiating.
