He married Donna Louise Tabolt on 10/12/1985 at the Calvary Assembly of God in Carthage.
He was a printer and photographer, managing a print shop for Carthage Central School and also working as a printer and photographer for the Carthage Tribune for a time. He also worked at the PX on Fort Drum. He enjoyed creating and repairing machinery, transportation, learning new technology (computers, drones, etc.), boating, as well as hosting guests.
He was survived by his wife; his mother; a daughter, Jennifer Louise Petzoldt; a son, Jonathan (Ashley) Mark Petzoldt; a brother, Martin Arthur (Carol); and a granddaughter, Lacey Virginia Petzoldt.
