Elaine was born on April 21, 1944 in Watertown, NY to the late Gladys and Merton Majo of Dexter, NY. Elaine attended Dexter schools and graduated from General Brown High School.
Elaine enjoyed boating, fishing, and spending time on both Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River. For 15 years she enjoyed spending the winters in Florida with her beloved husband Ken, along with all her friends from around the United States, Canada, and Great Britain.
She also loved her two fun loving dogs Christy and Pepper. Elaine worked as a clerk for NYSDOT in Watertown for 37 ½ years, retiring in April of 1999.
She is survived by her husband Ken of 38 years, a son Joseph Siraqusa and his wife Jennifer, a Stepson Kurt Lanning and his wife Lori, a sister Joan Mac Jones of Florida.
She is predeceased by her parents, and a sister Jane Bates of Cape Vincent.
She was cremated upon her request. A burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery will be at a later date.
