He was a son of Allen “Cracker” and Grace Sterlacci Fox. He graduated from Watertown High School in 1964 where he lettered in football and baseball. Allen attended Jefferson Community College.

He married Karen ____.
He married Rebecca Felts.

He served with the US Marines from 1969-1970. He was wounded in combat in Quang Nam Province and received a Purple Heart for those wounds. Following his honorable discharge and 9 months of rehabilitation, Allen went to work for the US Post Office in Watertown until his retirement. He was a member of the Watertown Elks and a life member of the American Legion.

He was survived by his wife; two daughters, Terri Fox, and Tabitha Fox; a son Timothy Fox; a step-daughter Marilyn St. Laurent; three grandchildren; two brothers, Kevin and Robert; and two sisters, Karen (Tim) Combs and Deb Fox.

He was predeceased by his parents and his second wife, Rebecca Felts.
