Janet Grossie Meche, age 60 and a resident of Sunset, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at her residence.
Janet loved compiling genealogy. In her younger years, she enjoyed fishing, camping and playing music. Janet will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Eddie Meche; mother, Inez Romero Grossie; daughters, Crystal Marks and husband, Jason, Stephanie Grossie and significant other, Michel, Cara Meche and Jessica Meche; brother, Kenneth Grossie; sisters, Colleen Ortego and husband, Steven, Karen Primeaux and Catherine Lear; sister-in-law, Laurie Skates; and grandchildren, Michael Marks, Andrew Marks and Margaret Fruge'.
She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Grossie, Jr.; mother-in-law, Opal Marie Meche; and brother-in-law, Darrell Meche.
