Orville Loyd Walker, 83 years, of Owasso, [Oklahoma] passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Baptist Village of Owasso. He was born on Tuesday, January 28, 1936 in Bernice, [Oklahoma] the son of the late Edd and the late Ada (Overmon) Walker.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 1-2 pm at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel Owasso, 9901 North Owasso Expressway, Owasso, [Oklahoma].

Orville Walker, 83, beloved husband, dad, grandfather and friend, transitioned peacefully to his Heavenly Home on Friday, March 1, 2019. He was born January 28, 1936 in Bernice, OK to Ed and Ada (Overmon) Walker, and was reared and educated in the Barnsdall, OK school system.

On June 13, 1955 Orville married the love of his life, Roma (Tolbert) Walker. They were the proud parents of one beautiful daughter, Tonja Renae, and made their home in Owasso, OK.

Orville had a strong work ethic, and excelled in his profession of food broker sales. He loved providing for his family, and making sure they had everything they needed.

He enjoyed golfing, gardening, camping and water skiing. He loved the outdoors, and kept his 2 1/2 acre yard in meticulous condition.

Orville was a huge OU fan, and seldom missed watching a game. Watching and listening to him during the OU game was usually more entertaining than the football game itself !

Orville is survived by his loving wife, Roma of Owasso; daughter, Tonja Stilwell and partner, Clifton Parker of Skiatook, [Oklahoma]; grandchildren: Aimee Stilwell Hass and husband, Josh; Shelbee Stilwell; Wyatt Stiwell, Braxton Stiwell, all of Owasso, and Mason Parker of Skiatook; great-grandchildren, Myles and Fynnigan Hass of Owasso.

In addition, Orville is survived by brother-in-law, Ed Tolbert and wife, Lavon of Bartlesville, [Oklahoma]; sister-in-law, Mary Tolbert Purkey and husband, Mike of Kansas City; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Orville was preceded in death by his parents. Edd and Ada Walker, 4 brother and 3 sisters.

Orville will lie in state in the drawing room of Green Hill Funeral Home on Monday, March 4, 2019 from 4-8 pm. Friends and family are welcome to visit.

Services will be 1 pm on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Green Hill Funeral Home in Owasso, OK with the Rev. Larry Tolbert officiating. Interment will be following the service at Dewey City Cemetery, Dewey, OK.
