Robert Richard Ashbaugh III, 18, Tipton, MO passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016, in Tipton. He was born and adopted in North Platte, Nebraska, April 7, 1998. by Rick and Cindy (Belfire) Ashbaugh, both of whom survive in Tipton. He was a member of the Tipton Community Baptist Church. He accepted Christ as his Savior on June 5, 2004. Robert was a very generous and fun-loving person who never met a stranger. He enjoyed running, hunting, and fishing. He was also part of the Tipton Volunteer Fire Department, and was planning on becoming a full-time firefighter after graduation in 2017. He attended Calvary Lutheran High School, Jefferson City, MO, where he participated in track and was on the cross country team. He won many awards and qualified to run in the State Cross Country Meet in 2015. He will be deeply missed by family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal. and paternal grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as his puppy, Max.Robert Richard Ashbaugh III, 18, Tipton, MO passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016, in Tipton, MO.

He is survived by Maternal Grandparents Warren and Norma Jean Belfire of Holdrege Nebraska, paternal Grandparents Robert and Sarah Ashbaugh of Peculiar, MO, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as his puppy Max.
Visitation will be at Calvary Lutheran High School in Jefferson City, MO on Sunday, June 5, 2016 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM, with the funeral service at the school beginning at 4:00 PM. Officiating will be Pastor Rick Ashbaugh and Principal Erich Ahlers.
The burial service will be private.
Memorials may be donated to the Robert Richard Ashbaugh III Scholarship Fund c/o the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, 100 S. Oak St. California, MO 65018.
